Steve Kinney joined the Board of Directors of The Friends of Thirteen, Inc. in 2005 and was elected Second Vice Chairman in June 2007; First Vice Chairman in 2009 and Chairman in 2010.  He received his B.S. degree from M.I.T. and his J.D. degree from Harvard University.  He was admitted to Sigma Xi, the scientific honor society, in 1970.  Steve is admitted to practice law in New York and before the United States Supreme Court. Margaret Stacey joined the Board of Directors of The Friends of Thirteen, Inc. in 1992, serving as Assistant Vice Chair and Vice Chair of The Long Island Friends.  She was elected First Vice-Chair in May 2010. Currently she is Chair of the Friends’ Advocacy Committee and former Vice Chair of the Friends’ Education Committee. She also serves on the WNET Patron Committee and the APTS Leadership Council.
