Why are watersheds
important?
Water is recycled.
We use the same water over and over again. We use it for recreation
(swimming, fishing), to maintain our economy (fishing, industrial,
commercial), and in our homes (cooking, drinking, bathing).
Many other living
things use water as their homes.

The balancing of our
ecosystem depends on the health of our water supply.
Keeping our
watersheds healthy keeps us healthy!
