Helen Keller was a marvelous woman who broke boundaries. She is outstanding because when she was expected to fail, she succeeded. She was deaf, blind, and mute; however, that did not stop her from conquering her goals. Attending college and spreading equality to the handicapped were just some of her accomplishments. Working for and actually attaining rights for the handicapped is superb. I think that it is so amazing that she doesn't know the meaning of the word 'impossible'. She influences me because I would like to live my life that way, knowing there are no boundaries and believing that I can accomplish anything I set my mind to.
