Phipps After-School Program

As our young adults learn about money issues they also think about their future. They think about investment, something that is useful, helpful to the growing community, valuable and also a wise growing financial industry.

A group of 18 students were broken into two groups of 9each. Each group was given 1.5 million dollars of which they had to use in an investment project.

The group of girls decided to invest their money into an educational institution. They will construct a three floor building to accommodate those who wish to design their own fashions. The building will be structured as follows:

1st Floor
Security Desk
Administration offices
Snack Machines
Restrooms

2nd Floor
Class Rooms
Fabric Room
Teacher's Lounge
Cafeteria
Restrooms

3rd Floor
Fitting Rooms
Gift Shop
Modeling Studio

Elevators and stairwells will be available for the students to have access to all floors.

Some materials needed for sewing are as follows:
Fabric
Needles
Zippers
Scissors
Buttons
Labels
Thread
Cotton
Different types of materials( polyester, silk)

These materials can be purchased at the school store. The sewing machines will be available on the school premises.

books
Tables
Papers
Blackboards
chalk
Computers
Printer

A tuition of $400.00 per semester will be required by each student. In addition, the students must buy the materials needed to sew their designs.

Admission will be charged for each modeling show given at the end of each semester.
