You are responsible for creating an animation of a volcano, earthquake, or tsunami (tidal wave). The first step is to view several examples of online animations of each before choosing one to animate. Next, spend some time researching your particular topic using the links provided in the Student Pathway. Make sketches of key animation frames on the Storyboard Design Sheet before beginning to work on the computer. Your project must include at least 5-10 separate frames that show sequential action of either an earthquake, volcano, or tsunami. Try to include labels, where appropriate, to indicate aspects of your illustration (e.g., magma for a volcano, wave height for a tsunami, epicenter for an earthquake). Try to indicate a scale for the animation. This can be accomplished by including a legend at the bottom of your frames that states the number of miles to the inch.
