Maya Temple Using the Internet, CD-ROMs, print resources, and an episode of the NATURE program SPIRITS OF THE JAGUAR, students explore ancient Mayan culture, identify significant Mayan contributions evident in our society today, and demonstrate their understanding via a PowerPoint presentation.

  Define the components that comprise a culture.

Students will use the Internet as a research tool. They will use the PowerPoint program to present their findings.
