The following handout will help you complete your Web lesson; print this handout by clicking "Print" from your browser. Your group is to study an assigned aspect of the lesser flamingo -- the habitat, the ecosystem it belongs to, its diet, nesting and mating behaviors, and threats, if any, to its survival. Then present this information to the class. Your teacher will use this information to show the food chain of the flamingo. Next, your group will choose and research a different bird. Using the slide show feature of the software you have available, you will create a multimedia slide show to illustrate the food chain of the bird you researched. Project components: 1. Study Guide - Complete the Study Guide questions on a separate piece of paper. You may want to give each member of the group a portion of the Guide to complete. You will turn this in to your teacher at the end of the project. 2. The Slide Show - Your slide show should have at least five slides. You can use clip art images and sounds, QuickTime movies, digitized or scanned photos, and your own illustrations and text. When working on your slide show, make sure you check for the following:
