"The Comforting Bears"
By: Katherine
P.S. 155 along with other schools in District 4
received teddy bears from children in Gilbert,
Arizona.
There were 300 teddy bears in all.
They were sent in November. In December,
we had a fake fireplace in the school lobby.
Ms. Hendrick, the principal and Ms.Ortiz, the
assistant principal called each Kindergarten,
First, and Second grade class to sit in front of
the fireplace to listen to "T'was the Night
Before Christmas." Then they handed out
the bears.

In January, the students from our school wrote
Thank You cards to the children from Arizona.
