The
Renaissance School opened its doors in September
1997. The theme of the school is based on the
historic
rebirth of the arts and sciences. The school's
mission is to educate children to have
broad
interests and to be true renaissance
people.
The
tragedy of September 11th deeply affected our
students as it has affected all Americans.
Renaissance students commemorated the tragic
events. They also faced the challenge of answering
the question: "Where do we go from here?" The
answer was expressed through art work (tiles
project, computer art), poetry and movement (
performance at Bloomfield College,
NJ).
