For high school social studies classes (especially AP), we are offering a 32-page Viewer's Guide to the series RELIGION & ETHICS NEWSWEEKLY. The guide has articles on Islam, the environment, religion in the 2008 race for the president, and health care. Also included is a DVD with over 20 clips from the award-winning series. Discussion Guide is a useful tool for adults and students interested in learning more about the heart and the causes and prevention of cardiovascular disease. In addition to program information, it includes essays for parents and for women as well as questions that will foster thought and discussion. The always popular NATURE comic book returns for its third year. Its stories relate to various NATURE episodes, including The Wolf that Changed America, The Dragon Chronicles and The Twilight of the Frogs. These stories, aimed at pre-teens and teenagers, are an exciting way for students to learn about the world around them. Thirteen's Educational Publishing Department has created a Discussion Guide for educators to accompany the SUPREME COURT. The Guide, designed for grades 9-12, includes background information; an essay, "Why the Supreme Court Is Important — to You!"; and a look at how the Court's decisions have influenced the way young people live.
