Your group is responsible for counting all of the vehicles in a single category that cross the assigned intersection during the 20-minute observation. Divide your group so that each person in the group is counting the vehicles with a certain number of passengers, including the driver. For example, one student in the group will only count cars with one person in it while another person in the same group will count cars with two people in it, etc. Multiply each individual result by 3 in order to get results per hour. When you return to the classroom, tally your results on this chart, along with the results from the rest of the class.
