Ruth Larson is a KRMA Teacher of the Year.
Ruth Larson is a National Board Certified Teacher with the Middle School Childhood Generalist certificate. She has a MA in Reading with a Reading Specialist endorsement. Ruth currently teachers fifth grade at Colorado Academy and serves as the math department coordinator. Ruth has received grants from the National Science Foundation, Xcel Energy Foundation (Classroom Connection), and Colorado Council of the International Reading Association (CCIRA). These monies supported development of innovative programs which she has presented at local, state, and national conventions.
