Input - can be a movement or a change in environment that will set or begin a
control process.
Control - force is applied to one component of a system, resulting in the
movement of another component of the same system.
Output - can be a movement, sound, or light resulting from a system's
operations.
Linear - movement in a straight line.
Reciprocating - movement backwards and forwards repeatedly in a straight line.
Oscillating - movement swinging backwards and forwards repeatedly through an
arc path with the same central point.
Rotary - movement in a circular path.
