Oxygen and Energy Supply Log  What's Out There? Space Shuttle Exploration and Simulation
Print this page and use it to track the amount of oxygen and energy you use during your mission. Astronaut Log -- Crew member:________________ You will begin your journey with 1000 units of oxygen and 1500 units of energy. Please keep track of how much time you spend each day traveling on the shuttle. Record your start time, finish time, and total number of minutes traveled. Calculate the amount of oxygen and energy you used and subtract from the previous day's total. For each minute you travel, you will use two units of oxygen and three units of energy. Write your amounts under the Oxygen and Energy columns each day to determine if you will have enough to complete your journey.
