		GUIDELINES FOR ART PROJECT: The story must be approximately one page and feature both the principal and secondary character. Text referencing the story must be included in the scroll in some way. The scroll must be composed of at least two of the following media: Pastel Pencil Water Color Collage Acrylic or Tempera Paint The scene must have a designed background. This may be accomplished by scanning and printing onto the scroll an existing image or collage, creating a background in Photoshop, or painting directly onto the scroll paper itself. Whichever method is chosen should utilize a style similar to traditional scroll backgrounds. It must include at least two formal elements described on the Style Guide. The presentation must be clear and demonstrate preparation and reflection.
