Planets Image Students learn the order of the planets, research the main characteristics of the nine planets, and understand the basic structure of our solar system. They also participate in a wNetSchool-created, online learning activity.

Students will be able to:

  • List the order of the planets of our solar system.
  • Describe the general characteristics of each planet.
  • Explain why we could not live on other planets without special equipment.


    Use of Internet: Students use the Internet as a research tool and a means of communication with online experts. They demonstrate their knowledge, using a wNetSchool-created, online learning tool.
