Migration
Here's a list of activities to follow as you complete your Web lesson:

  • Work with your group to develop short stories about specific animals and their migratory patterns.

  • Use the information you find on a specific animal's migratory pattern to create an illustration of the animal's migratory route. Illustrations may be created using a computer drawing application such as ClarisWorks.

  • Choose two different species of birds. Use information from the Web or from the school's library to compare and contrast these birds' behaviors (eating habits, mating rituals, migratory patterns etc.).

  • Write a list of questions for an expert on wildlife to answer on specific animal migratory patterns.
