The Great Grizzly

Students generate questions about grizzly bears and use the Internet to research the answers. As a culminating activity, students create a life-size mural of a grizzly that is annotated with the information they've learned.

Students will be able to:
Generate a list of research questions about grizzly bears.
Research and describe grizzly bears' behavior, habitat, and physical characteristics.

Use of Internet: Students use the Internet to conduct Web research, view an online animation of a brown bear walking, and participate in an online interactive matching game.
