The National Center on Education and the Economy (NCEE)

NCEE is a Washington-based nonprofit organization advocating the use of standards-based education. It has developed a set of performance standards called the "New Standards." Materials related to the New Standards may be ordered at the NCEE's Web site at www.ncee.org. New Standards have been adopted by the New York City public school system.
