September 2007 Go Back to School with CYBERCHASE! Take kids Back to School with CYBERCHASE, a TV/web promotion featuring three exciting weeks of key math shows to get kids fired up for a new school year. Designed to help kids get their math skills in gear, Back to School includes core math topics such as fractions, decimals, division, measurement, geometry and financial literacy- with which kids often struggle. The web component launches on Monday, August 27th at CYBERCHASE Online (pbskidsgo.org/cyberchase) to generate buzz for the broadcast launch one week later. Episodes will be linked to related math-based features on both the kids' and parent/teacher web sites, including games, activities, and tips for parents and educators (pbskids.org/cyberchase/parentsteachers/index). Back to School with CYBERCHASE kicks off on-air with the PREMIERE of the all new show "A Fraction of A Chance" on Labor Day, Mon. Sept 3rd. In this episode, the loveable cyberbird Digit must team up with the conniving Wicked to save his friends who are stuck in a cyber-vortex! Can the unlikely duo solve the fraction-based clues in time?
