The Bartow-Pell Mansion

The 19th-century city and national landmark was designed in the federal style and made of local stone. Just northwest of the mansion is the site of the Treaty Oak where Thomas Pell purchased Pelham Bay from the Siwanoy Indians in 1654. A small iron fence marks the historic site.
