The Gorilla Forest at the Bronx Zoo
Monday, June 9th, 2008
Now that it’s hot as, well, Africa here in New York City, the gorillas at the Bronx Zoo’s Gorilla Forest will be out and about their leafy habitats. The zoo is home to two troops of western lowland gorillas, which you can see daily from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm (5:30 on weekends).
For a preview of the Gorilla Forest, trek over to NATURE online to view a slideshow about the Bronx Zoo’s Gorilla Forest.
You can also read about tracking western lowland gorillas in the wild at NATURE’s “Deep Jungle: The Beast Within.”
