New Jersey Cuts Protection for 200 Miles of Streams

The NJ State Department of Environmental Protection is catching flack for the decision to cut protection for more than 200 miles of streams that provide key drinking water supplies around the state. Officials from the DEP say the original protection was based on old data. Critics, on the other hand, accuse the DEP of cutting protection for the benefit of developers eager to build.
