This NOVA episode profiles Harvard biologist and Pulitzer-Prize winning author Edward O. Wilson, ‘Lord of The Ants’. Wilson’s fascination ant populations fueled the start of his life’s work; seeing how ecosystems are interconnected propelled him to a new chapter.
Wilson is a PBS mainstay, a creative, interesting interview and one whose appearances are always welcome. That’s probably why many, many shows on PBS and Thirteen have interviewed him–he’s always engaging and entertaining.
With so many appearances, it was inevitable that Wilson would get a documentary on his own life: Lord of the Ants is now available to watch online in its entirety.
