Supreme Court Rules in Exxon Valdez, Child Rape Cases

The Supreme Court issued two highly anticipated decisions Wednesday, outlawing executions of people convicted of raping a child and slashing the $2.5 billion punitive damages award in the 1989 Exxon Valdez disaster to $500 million.
Last night on the NewsHour: Marcia Coyle of the National Law Journal recapped the day’s court rulings and a panel of experts examined the impact of the Exxon Valdez decision.

After outlawing the death penalty for child rapists, I’m sure we can count on the Supreme Court to recommend the death penalty for home-schooler parents. Way to go New World Order, you used our own court to shaft us again!!!
