Refreshing to hear a reasonable voice on this issue. For too long, Isreal has used American so-called media to portray itself as a victim, all while maintaining this barbaric occupation and passing itself off as a democracy. The Zionist entities who run Isreal’s govt. seem to have lost (if they ever had it) any capacity to be ashamed at the atrocities they commit. How utterly immoral

Well , anytime some reasonable person made a fair
critic of the Zionist State of Israel , the fanatical jewish- talibans accused them of ANTI-SEMITE.
Let remenber that Israel was ” created (1948)” by inmigrant from EUROPE ( Polish, hugarians, belgians austrians, russians etc,etc (NON- SEMITICS whites).
Europeans STOLED the ancient land of NATIVES PALESTINIANS and exterminates and throw them into
CONCENTRATION CAMPS ( Gaza & West Bank).
There are no more SEMITIC than the palestinians living in their land centuries of years for generations after the Biblical JEWS were throw out
of that land a few years after the dead of Jesus.
About 2000 years ago for the ROMANS.
We used the same LOGIC to assume USA own the land
that was inhabited by the natives indian , now almost
exterminated and their survivers living in RESERVES. That is CIVILIZATION and Progress. Yeah DEMOCRACY !

Yes it is because they dont have anyright of movement or any other right as human being. I am american and so so glad era bush is over! I could never understand for the life of me how the american people vote for the fool not once but twice.

Mark hasn’t the capacity to respond with facts, and like so many other Israeli firsters, insist that any person who criticizes Israel must be anti-Semitic. It is an illogical attack which won’t work anymore.
It was Israel which broke the June 19th truce with Hamas, first, when it refused to end the seige on food, water, medicine, exports, construction and development and on Gaza’s air, land, and sea, and, second when it entered Gaza on November 4, killing 6 Palestinians on the pretense that they were digging a tunnel to capture an Israeli soldier. As is so often the case, Israel had no evidence. Strange that Israel’s attack should coincide, as they had planned beginning in March 2008, to have their campaign of terror begin on November 4 when we were occupied with elections and end before Obama’s inauguaration, which is precisely what happened.
Note that Israel’s complaint on November 4 was not rocket attacks. Why not? Based on Israeli Intelligence Reports, the Qassam rockets were almost at zero throughout the period of the truce. In other words, Hamas kept its part of the agreement.
Moreover, not a single Israel had been killed in the year preceding Israel’s incendiary assault on December 27. Its attack was not because of rockets but because of their upcoming elections and their failure to defeat Hizbullah in Lebanon.
Hamas are resistance fighters to the 41 year old Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands. They have also brought law and order to The Gaza Strip which Fatah had not been able to do, and have provided aid and necessaries to Gazans.
People who support war and violence think that Hamas should have done nothing despite Israel’s starvation of Gazans and their military incursions.
It is tragic that Americans don’t make an effort on their own to read papers and documents other than that in the US where they will not learn the truth.

everyone in southern Israel is 15 seconds from a bomb shelter. There are none in Gaza. WHy were the tunnels use to smuggle so many weapons if if they were so hungry? Don’t forget that the fight to exterminate Israel by Arabs predates occupation by 20 years
