Sing Sing Seminary Teaches Religion in Jail

At the notoriously tough maximum security Sing Sing Prison in upstate New York, about 1,800 prisoners are incarcerated, most for very serious crimes. It is a forbidding place, not where you would expect to find a program offering an accredited master’s degree in professional studies in religion. Watch. (Originally aired: 1/8/2009).
