How Do You Commemorate September 11th?
Thursday, September 11th, 2008

It’s been 7 years, and the scars, while still there, fade gradually. Do you do anything special on September 11th to remember or reflect on the day? Let us know in the comments.

I commemorate what happened on 9/11 by practicing the Golden Rule - doing onto others as I would have them do onto me.

I started this in ‘02 and my, now 4 year old, son participates with me. We purchase gift certificates from restaurants that deliver and drop them off at our neighborhood fire station. We tell them we want them to thank them for what they do and 9/11 is a perfect time to do so.

I spent the day tying to figure out what happened on 9/11. A lot is on the internet. The official story is impossible, yet WNET won’t touch it
