Nature’s new documentary, “Superfish,” which premieres this Sunday at 8pm, follows marine biologist and filmmaker Rick Rosenthal across three oceans and more than two years on his quest to film the biggest, fastest, most dangerous gamefish in the sea — the ancient and amazing creatures known as billfish.

While Darwin is best known for his theory of evolution, he had a lifelong fascination with plants. The new exhibit on Darwin at the Bronx Botanical Garden features a breathtaking array of orchids, including the comet orchid from Madagascar, whose defining characteristic is a 12-inch-long nectary.
