Watch Filmmaker Albert Maysles’ Most Recent Doc on Dancer Sally Gross

Sally Gross - The Pleasure of Stillness‘ is an intimate portrait about the life and work of critically-acclaimed dancer and choreographer Sally Gross. Called “the most poetic of minimalist modern-dance choreographers” by the NY Times, Gross has been dancing for more than 50 years. Watch this film online, completed in 2007 by filmmakers Albert Maysles and Kristin Nutile.

Besides airing as part of Reel NY Film Festival at 12:30 am, Friday July 25th on Channel Thirteen, There will be a screening of SALLY GROSS - THE PLEASURE OF STILLNESS by Albert Maysles and Kristen Nutile on Thursday, July 24 at 6:00 pm at the Donnell Media Center Auditorium, 20 West 53rd Street, New York City.
