A Conversation with the Cast of the Film ‘Defiance’
Thursday, January 15th, 2009

Charlie Rose interviews actors Daniel Craig and Liev Schreiber, New Republic editor Leon Wieseltier, and producer/director/co-writer Ed Zwick about the film “Defiance”– one of a host of films about the Holocaust that have been released around the time of Holocaust Memorial Day, Jan. 27. Zwick’s “Defiance” is about three Jewish brothers who escape from Nazi-occupied Poland into the Belarussian forest, where they join Russian resistance fighters and endeavor to build a village in order to protect themselves and others in danger.

(Originally aired: 1/13/2009).
